Some days it seems like things look better on the other side.
It’s hard to get pictures of Hobbes. He’s old and cranky. Calvin tends to fly around like a maniac and then pass out. Pictures of the two of them? This is the only one I have.

This is yarn I picked up at the Massachusetts Sheep & Wool Festival at the Cummington Fairgrounds. It’s Green Mountain Spinnery Meadow Sock yarn. The pattern is from their book 99 Yarns and Counting – the Lightening Bolt Hat.
it’s fun but on size 1 needles, it’s a bit slow. I’ve been working on it off and on since June. It is a good knit for television watching and thinking about the next thing I want to knit. I think I need to focus for the time being.
