So I finished sock two for my sock pal yesterday.
I still love this pattern. However, the gauge has been elusive to say the least. By the time I hit the heel on the second one I knew I was done for. They looked completely different (no pics as I couldn’t figure out how to illustrate the shift in tension clearly). You can see from the photo they are a little different. The top one just doesn’t look right. Enough that I’m not happy to share these with someone else.
So, I’ve frogged the first up to the heel and am trying again. We’ll see how it goes.
